Tennis Center is looking for (2) Tennis Professionals to join our staff & growing community. Center is 10 miles south of Charlotte, NC and is part of the largest growth area for Charlotte. We are 2 hours from the mountains & 3 hours from the beach. Our facility is brand new & includes (11) lighted courts with a club house, pro shop, & a championship court. We have additional facilities in the area with over 70 brand new courts that we use for seasonal programming.
We are looking for pros who can help with the junior program, teach adult clinics, solicit private lessons, and provide programs in a few specialized areas. To include: Cardio Tennis, Senior Activities, Adult & Junior League Practices, Socials, & tournament planning. Additional income will be possible through desk hours, stringing, & special events.
The position will also have responsibilities in working with the MCTA (Mid-Carolina Tennis Association), our non-profit organization (CTA) that provides leagues, tournaments, NJTL’s, USA school programs, & other various programs in the area that would allow additional income as well. Requirements of Applicants: USPTA &/or USPTR certification, 4.0 – 5.0 playing level, & at least 5 years experience. Must be organized, entrepreneurial, & very energetic. A strong work ethic & member-centric attitude is needed for the success of this position. Will need to be a positive liason to the Director, Tennis Advisory Committee, & the MCTA. This person would want to have the aspirations to become a Director or Head Tennis Pro.
Package – Base monthly stipend, percentage of all lessons, clinics, & events, bonus program, no insurance or other benefits for first 6 months to start. Position to start immediately or by 8/01.
