The Assistant Professional responsibilities are to teach lessons to adults and children, run beginner and intermediate jr. clinics, assist the director in social events and tournaments, help with the development of new programs, and most important promote membership sales.
The ideal applicant must be young (preferably just graduated college) and have the following qualifications: NTRP rated 5.0 or better, must have a college degree and 4 years college playing experience or pro level, must be active player, must be motivated and ready to teach as many hrs. as possible. In addition, must be energetic and with a great attitude towards kids and adult membership. The compensation package is as follows: NO base salary, potential to work 30 hrs or more per week, percentage of private lessons, group insurance rate available, additional income with social events and tournament participation, membership sales incentives, flexible schedule.
The person interested in this position should know that this club is a great stepping stone that has created many successful Tennis Directors and Head Professionals. Our facility has 13 clay courts and 4 hard courts, locker rooms, Olympic Jr. sized pool, deli, pro shop.
