Nebraska Tennis Center (NTC) is a brand new complex with six indoor and 12 outdoor courts. The $3 million facility located on a 215-acre expanse at the Abbott Sports Complex near the University of Nebraska is home to the Nebraska Junior Tennis Academy. NTC also includes a full-service health and fitness center, player’s lounge and pro shop.
As the Head Professional, you will report directly to the Director of Tennis. Organize and implement all junior academy and adult group lessons as well as teach private and semi-private lessons. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to membership sales, leagues, tournaments, special events, facility maintenance and upkeep.
Qualified candidates will be well organized, responsible, reliable, energetic, motivated, have excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong computer skills and the ability to establish quality relationships with club members and staff associates. To be considered you must have a professional demeanor, be able to work with supervision, and possess at least one nationally recognized certification in tennis – USTA High Performance a plus. We strongly prefer individuals with an NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher, with experience playing collegiate tennis.
