Head Tennis Professional

Topspin Racquet and Swim Club has graduated another Head Tennis Pro to a great Director’s position so we are looking for the next top candidate. We are ready to get into our most active season of the year so we need to fill this position immediately.

The Head Tennis Professional responsibilities are: First, to be the right hand assistant to the Director. Second, teach lessons to adults and children, run beginner and intermediate jr. clinics, assist the director in social events and tournaments, help with the development of new programs, and most important promote membership sales.
The ideal applicant must have the following qualifications: NTRP rated 5.0 or better, must have a college degree and 4 years college playing experience (D1 preferred) or pro level, must be active player, must be motivated and ready to teach as many hours as possible. In addition, must be energetic, self motivated, and with a great attitude towards kids and adult membership. Also, any teaching experience and PTR or USPTA certification a definite plus.

The compensation package is as follows: $5,000.00 base salary, potential to work 30 hrs or more per week, percentage of private lessons, group insurance rate available, additional income with social events and tournament participation, membership sales incentives. This position has paid around $40,000.00 to $55,000.00 a year.

The person interested in this position should know that this club is a great stepping stone that has created many successful Tennis Directors. Our facility has 13 clay courts and 4 hard courts, locker rooms, Olympic Jr. sized pool, deli, pro shop.
